Who I Am
With over 20 years of experience communicating and working on the Internet, I spend a lot of my time finding and aggregating information, wrangling people over e-mail, Facebook and Twitter while muttering to myself about content calendars, punch lists, listening pages, grammar, syntax and analytics.
As a freelance creative wonk, writer, blogger, editor, and visual artist, I am primarily interested in creativity, art, research, content development, social media and community building. I can be found over at Creative Wonk, Active Gray Matter, 12 12 Gallery and krishanna |dot| com where my passion for writing, art, geeky stuff and connecting like-minded creative people and communities are indulged and nurtured
Transplanted to the Richmond area nearly 20 years ago from Los Angeles, California , I am staff to a trinity of cats, and share my world with a modest group of creative spirits I am fortunate enough to call my friends
As an aside, the thoughts, opinions, values and ideas you’ll find here are mine and mine alone. They don’t reflect or represent those of my aforementioned friends, colleagues, clients, business partners or anyone else with whom I am affiliated. Please don’t give them any @#%! or get them in trouble just because you read something here you didn’t care for, agree with or like very much. Kaithx.
What I Do
I spread knowledge about internet presence, blogging, social media and community for writers, artists, and professional creatives. I help people get their message across by using their words, not their pocketbooks. I work with people to help them achieve their goals and live their dreams.
I educate and advocate about the benefits and pitfalls of self-employment for people with chronic and disabling conditions and I get to meet a lot of really cool, interesting and like-minded people . I create art and design jewelry with found stuff, old stuff, stuff you’d never consider art stuff and I get to share it others.
I can simplify technical jargon, solve problems, and light your inspiration to create all of which results in enlightenment, empowerment, understanding and happiness.
I help people make their lives happier. Tell me, is there a higher calling than that?
